Chamber Meetings

General Membership Meetings are held at noon on the third Wednesday of each month excluding July and August. The Board of Directors meets the first Wednesday of each month.

Upcoming meetings:

1. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at noon at Adam's.  Guest speaker is Dr. Michael Scott from Salisbury University and the Easter Shore Regional GIS Cooperative.
2. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at noon at the Fruitland Community Center.  Guest speakers Alexis Dashield and Gladys Jones.
3. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at noon.
4. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at noon.
5. Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at noon.

At each general membership meeting, two businesses will present information about their companies. Chamber Events

• The 2011 Annual Banquet will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 5:30 pm. The Community Recognition awards are presented each year at the Banquet. A silent auction is held to benefit the Chamber general fund. 

• The Annual Easter Parade is held every year in the Spring is coordination with the Fruitland Easter Egg Hunt at the Recreation Park.  There is an entry contest for non-profit youth groups.  The Easter Parade is typically scheduled for the Saturday a week prior to Easter.  The 2012 Easter Parade is on Saturday, March 31, 2012 beginning at 10:00 am.

• The Annual Christmas Lighting ceremony is held at City Hall during the week after Thanksgiving.  

• The Basket Bingo fundraiser benefits the Chamber and the scholarship fund.  The Basket Bingo is held at the Fruitland Fire Department on a Saturday evening in the Spring. 

• A day of Salvation Army Bell Ringing is sponsored by the Fruitland Chamber at the Wal-Mart in Fruitland.  

• The Chamber hosts a candidates forum at City Hall during City of Fruitland Council elections, which are held every two years.
